#showtooltip
/cast [nostance:1] Bear Form(Shapeshift)
/cast Growl
but it doesn't work.
Is it even possible or am I missing something?
Not by a WoW install to try it, but one of these should work, both will require you to hit the button twice
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=5 !Bear Form, Growl
OR
#showtooltip Growl
/cast !Bear Form
/cast Growl
Thanks for the fast reply!
So there's no macro that would work with one press?
I'm currently leveling up a Bear tank and was thinking of trying out the hybrid bear tank. Since I was short on hotkeys, I was looking for a macro that would switch me into Bear from Cat and growl. I've tried something like:
#showtooltip
/cast [nostance:1] Bear Form(Shapeshift)
/cast Growl
but it doesn't work.

I would double check the spelling and/or just shift-click from your spell book.

Nope. If it triggers a global cooldown, expect to press it for each one it triggers.
If you are in Bear, you will only trigger one for Growl. If you're coming from any other form, expect two key presses.
Try this one:
#showtooltip
/cast [nostance:1] Bear Form; Growl
I guess I'll have to press it twice.
Thanks everyone for the help!
Be sure its a macro you can spam.- Otherwise you can macro out of your bear form... not good.
I dont remember my macro very well but it was like the shown above:
#showtooltip
/cast [stance:1] Growl; Bear Form

The macro I posted is spammable, as well as the one Roncagliolo posted.
In some situations that i need to taunt(Growl) something and i am at boomkin form i use this. I clicked twice, one for bear form and one for growl but the taunt target as pre-set as focus target. My macro is:
ReplyDelete#showtooltip Growl
/cast [nostance:1]Bear Form; [@focus]Growl
