do druids get as much of the sneaky stuff as a rogue or not really?
You can Pounce people (4 sec stun, breaks stealth), but not a 6 - 8 (I don't have a rogue, not sure what the time is) second stun that doesn't take you out of stealth.
Rogues have more toys in stealth, no argument there. Cats and especially NE's (S.Meld) have more of an afterthought "stealth is your toy".
If stealth is your bag, take rogue.
We do have plenty of other toys tho. :P
Rogues are better for arenas.
Ferals are better for BGs (more fun overall, imo).
Both are fun in different aspects. Sometimes I want to sneak around and gank / disappear, other times I want to go hang 5cp rip on a ~100k player, root and hop around him while he ticks down.
Rogues - Say there are two people at a node, you can sap / blind one while you kill the other. Vanish and take care of his friend, or watch him run around AOEing trying to find you.
Ferals - (I'm assuming Feral since you are comparing to rogue) get your 5cp rip rolling on guy one, root or insta cyclone his buddy and finish him off, or go bear and tank them both. When one dies, get your grasp on, hop away go kitty, Feral Charge in and take him down too.
You rarely run across a healer in a BG that you shouldn't be able to solo when you get the gear to support your ability with either toon.
Really, just run them both to 85 and see which one tickles your fancy.
Anything works for random BGs, I'd take the Feral though because they are reaallyy fun in BGs against uncoordinated teams and crappy players.
so you think ferals are a stronger solo player as far as doing 2v1s and stuff or just more fun overall?
If we thought rogues were more fun overall, we'd be over in the rogue forums with rogues as mains. ;)
ok so about the abilities do rogues get more for pvp?
They're just different.
Rogues get a ton more CC. If you're looking for the OP FoTM, go rogue. 10k for 2 welfare 397 daggers (part of the legendary questline), Vial of OPness (if you can get it to drop) which stacks with their Find Weakness ability, etc.
We get better defensive abilities in taking the hits (as opposed to CoS and vanish), soothing off enrages, innervate for the healer, strong DOTs... But our PVP history is come and go. Rogues have almost always been better off. We also have the option to go healer, caster dps, or tank, should we find we are tired of kitty. Rogues can change specs, but they will always be mDPS.
I enjoy durid, therefore I play one. Try both. Unfortunately, you don't get a good idea of a class until 75 - 80 at the very least. That's the best advice anyone can give you right now.
Well this toon is for strickly pvp, my main is our guilds main tank but im bored with it on pvp so i want a toon that i think will alwasy be good in pvp, my biggest concern with a druid is a lot of a druids defense at the moment is the ability to go bear and from what i understand in MOP they are gong to get rid of having a feral with bear defense points and agi being king in both feral dps and feral tanking
so im not sure concerned with FoTM pvp but i would ike something that is going to be at least good season after season which my classes are not

then you want a rogue. even when they've been at their worst, they were still one of the top arena classes.
Also, check the top arena ratings by class. There's a reason you have 329582n^2 more rogues than ferals up there.
